Author’s Note: In the past, Canon DSLRs suffered from poor dynamic range but since then Canon cameras sensors got much better than in the past. I highly recommend buying a Canon camera if you already have existing EF glass or like the look of the Canon colors. In addition to this, the Canon camera system is highly adaptable and versatile.
Canon EOS R5 Mark II
The best hybrid Canon camera for any kind of photo or video assignments.
The inclusion of the Clog2 gamma curve is going to help to capture the maximum dynamic range for the most demanding high contrast situations like windows in homes.
Canon EOS R6 Mark II
The Canon R6 Mark II is one of the best choices for real estate photography and videography choices in 2024.
It’s a very well balanced and reasonably priced camera. Full frame, in body image stabilization, and tons of good features for hybrid photo and video shooters, oh and it’s also great on low light situations, perfect for twilight!
Canon EOS R8
It shares the same sensor and recording capabilities as the more expensive Canon EOS R6 Mark II but at a lower cost. It’s great it doesn’t crop at 4K60! The main difference is the absence of IBIS but it should be okay If you are using slider and gimbal. It’s also a great B cam to other more expensive Canon cameras as Clog3 can be easily matched.

Canon RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 Lens
Good and affordable entry level wide angle zoom lens for full frame Canon R cameras. More than sufficient for photography but maybe not fast enough for videography. We recommend either the Canon RF 14-35 f4 or the Canon RF 15-35 f2.8 for video.

This lens offers excellent performance for photography and is more than sufficient for capturing photographer. However, it's important to note that its aperture may not be optimal for videography.
